Koboguard Natural 3000-Hydrogenated glyceryl rosinate is naturally derived and formed from esterification of glycerin with a hydrogenated rosin. The hydrogenation process results in a higher proportion of hydrogen atoms relative to carbon atoms making it more hydrocarbon-based with characteristic hydrophobic rings. When incorporated into a volatile-based formulation, glyceryl hydrogenated rosinate enhances the water-resistance, transfer-resistance and adhesion properties, enabling very high naturality pigmented formulas with non transfer properties.
