Dr Dario Zanichelli holds a PhD in Industrial Biochemistry from the University of Bologna and has always focused his researches on the use of enzyme based biocatalysis on innovative industrial applications and natural molecules.

In 2006, with two colleagues at the University, Dario founded Phenbiox srl, a spin off company of the University of Bologna that offers highly innovative plant based ingredients to the cosmetic sector. Part of the management of the company, Dario is primarily involved with R&D as well as for the international development of the business.
