Iain Sallis is a UK Registered Trichologist with over 20 years’ clinical experience in hair and scalp disorders. He is Director of Hairmedic Ltd and co-founder of the International Trichology Congress (ITC), working at the interface of cosmetic science, follicular biology and professional standards. His work includes clinical practice, medico-legal reporting and industry consultation on responsible claims communication. Iain is particularly focused on improving transparency and scientific accountability within haircare, developing structured frameworks to support evidence-based positioning of cosmetic hair and scalp products without crossing regulatory boundaries.
