Liz Earle MBE
Liz Earle MBE is renowned for her lifelong passion for natural health, beauty and wellbeing, alongside her considerable charity and women’s health campaigning. She is the bestselling author of more than 35 books, a TV presenter, entrepreneur, and the host of the popular Liz Earle Wellbeing Show podcast. Having begun her television career on ITV’s This Morning in 1989, followed by her own series on both BBC and BBC networks.
Passionate about research and consumer information, Liz co-founded the Guild of Health Writers in 1994 and FLAG (the Food Labelling Agenda), which campaigned successfully at government level for clearer, more meaningful food labelling. She is an ambassador and advocate for The Soil Association, The Sustainable Food Trust, Love British Food, The Royal Osteoporosis Society, The Menopause Society, International Health Partners, CURE International and Tearfund. In 2010 she founded the UK humanitarian charity LiveTwice, to provide opportunity and support for disadvantaged people both in the UK and overseas.
An entrepreneur from the outset, Liz has been behind several successful ventures. In 1995 she co-founded Liz Earle Beauty Co., today owned by Walgreens Boots Alliance; she exited in 2010 and no longer has any connection. She also founded Liz Earle Fair & Fine, an award-winning range of ethical, Fairtrade botanical jewellery. She now runs Liz Earle Wellbeing – a longevity lifestyle brand focused on health and living well, and hosts the popular twice-weekly Liz Earle Wellbeing podcast. Her new book, How to Age, will be published in April 2026.
Liz was awarded an MBE in 2007 for services to business and has received Honorary Doctorates of Laws from both Portsmouth and Staffordshire Universities.
Her books include The Good Gut Guide and The Good Menopause Guide, both number one Amazon bestsellers. Her most recent work, A Better Second Half (2024), became a Sunday Times No. 1 bestseller and sets out evidence-based strategies to dial back the ageing clock, empower midlife women, and help them thrive in the decades ahead.
Liz is divorced, has five children, and divides her time between her Wellbeing studios in London and her home in the West Country.
