Graham has over 30 years of consultancy experience in the UK, EU and globally across responsible business, sustainability, ESG, public affairs, public policy, corporate communications and stakeholder engagement.
He has advised the CTPA since 2017 on sustainability, policy, public affairs and corporate communications. He worked with the CTPA and Forum for the Future to develop the CTPA’s Sustainability Strategy and now helps to deliver and implement it as well as updating and improving it for the future.
Graham has advised a range of other personal care, fmcg, retail and healthcare clients such as L’Oreal, Unilever, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Alliance Boots, Kingfisher, Coca-Cola and AstraZeneca. His clients span a wide range of broader sectors and other major clients have included HSBC, National Grid, BHP, The Crown Estate and Mondelez.
Graham was a Director at UK consultancy Fishburn Hedges for 12 years before co-founding the award winning consultancy Open Road in 2007 which he helped to grow and then sold to Blue Rubicon in 2014. Blue Rubicon then became part of Teneo in 2015 and Graham helped to lead the UK / European and global public affairs, sustainability and ESG practices at Teneo until 2021.
Graham has studied twice at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and advises and collaborates with a number of charities and NGOs including WWF, Forum for the Future and Blueprint for Better Business which is a corporate purpose charity.
