Dr Kristin Neumann, a microbiologist with a PhD in Microbiology, is passionate about understanding life at the molecular level, particularly bacteria and the microbiome. She has worked on combating antibiotic resistance and developing methods to target harmful bacteria while preserving microbiome balance. To bridge gaps in microbiome science and public understanding, she co-founded MyMicrobiome, an educational platform. Together with Tanja Walbrunn, she launched the world’s first certification seal for microbiome-friendly products. With her scientific expertise and entrepreneurial spirit, Dr. Neumann is a leading voice in promoting the microbiome’s essential role in health and well-being.
