Dr. Barbara Olioso, founder of The Green Chemist and Green Chem Finder, brings over 20 years of expertise in sustainable beauty solutions. A doctor in Chemistry from Venice University and additional qualifications in Food Science and Cosmetic Science, she combines scientific rigor with practical formulation skills.
Since 1999, Barbara has specialized in green cosmetic formulations, achieving a milestone in 2005 by developing the first certified organic eau de toilette. Specialized in green preservation systems, she has pioneered natural antimicrobial solutions that balance efficacy with sustainability. She regularly moderates the Sustainability Zone at In-Cosmetics Global, and other events worldwide.
