CTPA

As Director-General, Emma is responsible for the strategic direction of CTPA (Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association) and acts as the public voice of the Association.  Emma also leads on external stakeholder engagement; international relations; and on the Association’s ambitious Sustainability Strategy: Working Towards a net Positive Cosmetics Industry.  Emma represents the CTPA on several committees at Cosmetics Europe, the European personal care association, including Board of Directors, College of Active Association Members and the Strategic Advisory Groups on the European Green Deal and Sun Protection.  Emma is a Vice-chair of the Science Strategic Core Team.

Emma is a pharmacist by profession and joined CTPA in 2003.  Emma has been a member of the SCS since that year and has been privileged to undertake several active roles within the Society, including Chair of the Scientific Programme Committee, Council member and Honorary Secretary, and is extremely honoured to be a past President.  Emma was elected Honorary Member of the SCS at the 2022 AGM.
