Obtaining an Honours Degree in Chemistry from the University of Birmingham, Christine first joined the cosmetics industry in 1989 when she also studied to qualify as a Cosmetic Scientist  During her career, Christine has enjoyed working in various aspects of the industry, from product development to training, both in the UK and overseas.

In 2016, Christine joined CTPA where her previous experience helps inform her role of Senior Affairs Manager, leading CTPA’s Sustainability Strategy, ‘Driving Towards a Net Positive Cosmetics Industry’.  To build capacity and resilience within CTPA and its membership, Christine leads the Association’s engagement with key sustainability stakeholders and works to better understand the challenges facing us all, focussing on industry-wide solutions by encouraging best practice.
