Amanda Isom

Amanda Isom joined Bloom Regulatory in 2020.
Prior to 2020, Amanda worked for the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association (CTPA), initially in the Scientific and Technical department and later as Compliance Manager.
Amanda has 25 years of experience in the cosmetic industry during which time she has provided support and advice to cosmetic companies including on the European/UK Cosmetics Regulation and related topics and legislative frameworks. Amanda liaised closely with the Government on the implementation of a UK regulatory framework for cosmetics post-Brexit and, in collaboration with the Chartered Trading Standards Institute, has delivered regional training to Trading Standards Officers on ‘what compliance looks like’.
Amanda has been an active participant in a number of industry and stakeholder groups including the British Standards Institute technical committee for cosmetics and co-edited the SCS/Royal Society of Chemistry book on ‘Discovering Cosmetic Science’.
Amanda leads the team of advisors to deliver bespoke advice and support, compliance and systems training, enforcement advice and also supports the business through strategic planning.
