Triphasic Microemulsion in Personal Care

Multi-phase personal care products have been trendy for decades. Usually triphasic formulations include silicone, glycol or petroleum-based ingredients and the way to formulate them is based on the exclusion of solubility. We will present an innovative way to formulate multi-phase cosmetics in liquid form based on Winsor III microemulsions. Our triphasic microemulsions are composed of ingredients that are carefully selected from a range of raw materials that have an ISO 16128 index higher than 0.90. The intrinsic properties of these microemulsions support a higher sensory profile, with superior performance and stability than traditional formulations.
