For end-users, it is quite difficult to make a fully informed selection of the beauty products that best suits one: depending one’s needs, likes and dislikes (product characteristics such as aesthetics, texture, color, ingredients, smell …), environmental factors, brand concept, brand engagement towards sustainability, product scoring on “safety” apps, evaluation on social networks… And the cosmetic market is very dynamic, evolving at a very high pace.
In the meanwhile, digital technologies including IOT, AI and retail tools are now available to support brands and multi-brand retailers personalize their recommendation, gain agility in grasping customer changing needs, evaluation and upcoming trends, curate their portfolio, optimize stock and merchandizing in almost real-time to fully guide and comfort their customers in selecting the products that best suit them and therefore, maximize customer engagement and loyalty. For this workshop, we will curate different technologies and devices to reflect this changing landscape.
