Valida is a 100% natural, cosmos-certified and readily biodegradable polymer sourced from Sappi’s PEFC-certified wood pulp. Valida can be used to replace traditional synthetic polymers and microplastics to improve stabilisation of formulations, suspension of both lightweight materials and dense actives (scrubs or UV filters) while maintaining a low viscosity allowing for a sprayable product to be achieved.
